Throughout his medical training, Dr. Arteaga was actively involved with a wide range of clinical research studies, most notably the optimization of novel MRI protocols for stroke risk stratification. Towards the end of his training, he shifted his focus to address inefficiencies in how patients are enrolled into clinical trials within hospital systems. He additionally currently works as a neurohospitalist in the Nashville area.
